Rigved

I am in the habit of brooding. Last night on once such occasion, Rig was sitting in the same room quietly. I did not know that he was observing me. After some time, he spoke in his (now) trademark polite, loving, caring yet firm manner, “Sometimes it is nice to just think of the simple things”. I was quite surprised by his statement as I was in some complex, twisted though pattern about the future of my new company. He said, “Sometimes you should just think of all the good things in your life. You don’t have to always worry about the company’s future… that is a negative thought process… You should think of the positive things around you, for example that smiling photo on the wall, you can go back to the day it was clicked and remember that day or for that matter even a simple memory from your childhood instead of some negative complex thought. All the links to the happy simple thoughts are all around you, you just did not notice.”

Rigved is seen contemplating on something at times and then if the onlooker is lucky, Rig will share the conclusion of his contemplation. One such conclusion, ‘When we grow old and die and if we go to heaven, then probably we start living in a reverse way, where we are born old and then we die as babies and when we do so we start growing old back on earth.’

This is a new start to Rigved’s blog. Wordpress! Rigved is fast asleep at the moment. So is Banda. These days Rigved is very active, energetic and happy. He is thoroughly enjoying his summer vacation.

Yesterday, Rigved was talking about some woman character in a cartoon. Banda casually asked him, “How did you know it was a woman character?” Rigved replied very innocently, “Her lungs were on the outside.”
