Rigved

I am in the habit of brooding. Last night on once such occasion, Rig was sitting in the same room quietly. I did not know that he was observing me. After some time, he spoke in his (now) trademark polite, loving, caring yet firm manner, “Sometimes it is nice to just think of the simple things”. I was quite surprised by his statement as I was in some complex, twisted though pattern about the future of my new company. He said, “Sometimes you should just think of all the good things in your life. You don’t have to always worry about the company’s future… that is a negative thought process… You should think of the positive things around you, for example that smiling photo on the wall, you can go back to the day it was clicked and remember that day or for that matter even a simple memory from your childhood instead of some negative complex thought. All the links to the happy simple thoughts are all around you, you just did not notice.”

Its Ganpati days. We are quite disenchanted with whatever that goes under the name of this religious festival. On our way to the school, Rigved said, ‘I doubt if there is anything called God, with or without an elephant head, but there maybe something amazing in the atoms’

We go to Cafe Coffee Day once a week and sometimes twice just to chill out and, well, eat chocolate cakes with ice creams and milkshakes and cold coffees. On one such visit, Rig saw a small insect and said, ‘An insect is so little but then in the cosmic sense we are no different.’

Banda sent the following message to Rigved because of his general behavior and loving nature:
Msg 4 baby, u r a very good boy and am really proud of u… Aai.

Rigved looked at the message and took the phone from me to write his reply in his trademark style. I haven´t deliberately edited it.
I am proud of you to. And i am happy with you. But do you know that your héad is full of fruits , nuts and the most importent thing is love come home fast we will play many games.I will be ready to play. From baby to aai.
