These days I call Rigved Bin Bin. A couple of days ago, his class mates declared him as the best child in class so I send him a SMS on Banda’s phone:
Dear Bin Bin, You are the best child in the world!
He replied back from the same phone (I ve typed exactly the way it was written by him):
I am not the only one u may find many others . never forget life is corrupted land it is filled with unknown monsters the moment u get dreamy they attack. and each colony has its battler of honor. some weak and some strong ur sinserly bin bin

Rigved hasnt been going to school for the last 3 days for no really good reason… I was worried that he might be missing so much studies.. In this worry I went to see what he was up to.. he had cosily curled up on the sofa and he was reading a book called The Art of War, Ancient Chinese War Techniques…. I thought to myself… ah he is missing nothing…
He has created a model of Pingu out of white clay. He plans to color it today.
The reason why he is home is because he is supposedly sick. He has a bit of congestion but he is not really looking weak or coughing or sneezing etc. He plays with his toys, reads his books, laughs out loud, goes outdoor to play in the evenings, watches movies… basically everything except for school. I guess he is sick of school…

Today for the first time in his life, Rigved was alone at home. I had to go to the office for a couple of hours and Banda wasn’t at home. Rigved was just thrilled. He must have been alone for not more than 2 hours as Banda came home by then. We panicked a bit as we couldn’t reach our home number as he had not replaced the receiver properly. In his brief stint of being alone at home, he did one of his most fav activities – playing World of Warcraft. Currently he is a Dranei Shaman and today he reached level 59!
Also today he installed something for the first time – The Encarta. At the moment he is looking through its History pages learning about the wars in the 20th century.

Today I was telling Rigved about how Nike and Reebok are enemies to each other in a way as the both of them are fighting for the coveted number one position. I also told him about the Pepsi and Coke war. He asked me why are the colas at war? I told its because they want to establish that they are the best cold drink in the world and hence one tries to out do the other. He replied, “I think Maaza is the best cold drink!”.
Maaza is a mango flavored drink available in India.

Right now Rigved and Banda are watching Takeshi´s Castle on Pogo. These days their taste in television programming seems to be merging.
Yesterday, Rigved played a pretty difficult level of Age of Empires and won. After the game he started playing the game with his blocks and the knights, pawns etc from Chess. He built his own castles, enemy castles, soldiers, horsemen, armies and fought a great battle. Needless to say, the white chess pieces were his army. The war went on for around 2 hours in the afternoon while Banda took a nap. All this took place so silently that it would be impossible for the onlooker to believe that there is a war going on!
Rigved draws elephants like no one in the world. He had stopped doing that for some time. Today out of a sudden he worked on a little surprise for me and handed it over. It was a small booklet made out of white note papers with elephant drawings in them.
