Some days ago, Banda had got Rigved a globe.
The next day, Banda found a piece of paper in his bag which had a list of seas of the world. There were about 20 of them. Rigved had apparently looked at the globe and jotted down their names and taken it to school. He had shown that list to his teacher and she had really liked this endeavour of Rigved. She asked him to read out the names to the class. We were not even aware that he was upto this and he hadnt even told us about it. We were pleasantly surprised to discover this undercover activity that Rigved was upto.
To his teacher, Rigved is a very well read boy and whenever we meet her, she never fails to comment on his writing skills. Last week he was sent to the head mistress with his school diary and the head mistress had noted in it, “Rigved is a very smart and intelligent boy”. Though both me and Banda are still not sure what prompted the head mistress to do so but we can safely assume it was for all the right reasons.

A couple of nights ago, while we were lying down to sleep, Rigved softly asked me whether Shrek 4 will be made by Dreamworks? I told him thats possible. Then he wondered aloud as to what makes the creators of the movie to release sequels. I told him that depends on the overall ticket sale worldwide, sale of the VCDs/DVDs of the movie etc. He thought for a while and sheepishly suggested, “How about buying 10 CDs of Shrek 3.”
He probably thought, if we buy 10 movie CDs of Shrek 3, it will increase the total number of sales of Sherk movie CDs and that will prompt Dreamworks to make Shrek 4!

Today after coming home from school, we removed the 2 balance wheels on Rigved’s cycle. He was asking for this since some time now and we were waiting for the rains to go away and the rains obliged. We went to Krishna(Rig’s younger friend a.k.a vegetation) and got a tool to remove the wheels. We removed one first and it turned out that did not make any difference so we removed both of them. Rigved easily managed to ride on straight roads. The turns were a bit challenging but he managed quite a lot of them. He was very very pleased with the whole exercise and he noticed that the cycle is much faster now as there is no friction applied due to the extra wheels.
