At this moment Banda is in Delhi for some office work. Its been 2 days since she is away and as usual Rigved has a very uncanny way of expressing his love for her. He was enjoying his days doing all the things he likes to do and suddenly while going to bed he became a little serious and said, “I miss Mom”. I asked him in what way does he miss her. He replied, “There is a different feeling when she is around!”

Maruti Suzuki has a new ad with the catch line ‘Men are back’. Rigved saw this ad and said crossly, “What do u mean men are back? We never left!”

Rigved had ordered a movie from BigFlix called the Narnia, The Caspian Prince(the older one). While giving a pick up request he saw a box to enter a review of the movie. He asked me what is this for. I told him that he can write his views about this movie so that other people(kids) can get an idea about it and decide whether to rent this movie or not. So he wrote the following:
war is cool
if you love fantasy wars filled with goblins, talking animals, mystery then stop reading and order!

These days I call Rigved Bin Bin. A couple of days ago, his class mates declared him as the best child in class so I send him a SMS on Banda’s phone:
Dear Bin Bin, You are the best child in the world!
He replied back from the same phone (I ve typed exactly the way it was written by him):
I am not the only one u may find many others . never forget life is corrupted land it is filled with unknown monsters the moment u get dreamy they attack. and each colony has its battler of honor. some weak and some strong ur sinserly bin bin

We just installed MS Logo (Microsoft Logic Oriented Graphic Oriented, an educational programming language) on Rig’s machine and he showed me the basics of it. He is programming already! He was introduced to MS Logo by his school computer class. I had downloaded it some time ago with a bunch of video and pdf tutorials for him. It has a command line interface and you can type in stuff to make the ‘turtle’ (a pointer) move around leaving a trail so that an image can be formed. You can later save this image.
